Rafaela Carasco is a fast rising star in the flamenco dance world. In a career that started at 6, she has also trained and performed in other styles including classical Spanish and contemporary Spanish dance. In flamenco, she has collaborated with many great dancers including Mario Maya, Belen Maya, Manolete and Israel Galvan and starred as a soloist with the Andalucian Dance Company and the Cumbre Flamenca Company. Rafaela Carrasco is one of the most outstanding artists of flamenco’s younger generation. Una Mirada del Flamenco, her latest work, fully displays her rare ability to explore new concepts while maintaining the essence and integrity of flamenco. The company includes five male and female dancers and an equal complement of guitarists, singers and musicians.
