Women in Cape Verde hold a special place in the nation's culture by maintaining the survival and continuity of traditions. It is in this context and inspired by the text from Mario Lucio Sous, that the dancers and choreographers utilise buckets, brooms and branches to create their own lyrical universe of longing and nostalgia amongst the struggles of daily life.
