Divine Influence/Transit/Pond Way

Divine Influence by Martin Joyce, is a fast moving, passionate duet bristling with comic tension and moments of intense tenderness and is performed to the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Transit, a solo created and performed by Melanie Teall, is a fluid, atmospheric piece inspired by the phenomenon of the planet Venus in transit, performed to extracts from Eric Serra's soundtrack to the film Leon. Pond Way by Merce Cunningham, is a contemplative, often sensuous piece, with the movement being reminiscent of the game of skimming stones over a pond. The production is enriched with a backcloth from the artist Roy Lichtenstein and a soundscape by composer Brian Eno
