Stand and Stare/Pond Way/Transit/Verge
Stand and Stare is a gritty, powerful and athletic piece that uses the white negative space, and the vertical and horizontal lines of artist LS Lowry's work in both the choreography and set design, and is performed to Bartok's dramatically haunting
Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion.
Pond Way is a lyrical, often sensuous piece, with a soundscape by Brian Eno and a backdrop by pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.
Transit is an atmospheric, fluid exploration of movement and space, inspired by the phenomenon of the planet Venus in transit.
Verge is performed to an original electro-acoustic score made up entirely of the dancers' physical sounds.
