The Student Choreographic Showcase provides an opportunity to see original work by young choreographers who will go on to redefine their industry. During workshops and choreography classes, students are introduced to a varied palette of creative methods from which they may draw inspiration. They have access to studios, choose dancers, and are given support and encouragement by staff, however essentially they are left free to develop their own ideas. There is no ?house style': what emerges may be an expression of a dramatic, emotional, aesthetic or narrative idea, or a response to a favourite piece of music.
