Dance or ballet :: Percussion is mixed with tap, dance, humour and audience participation with absolutely no pre-recorded music. The sound is created completely from live percussion, using instruments as diverse as cement mixers, dustbins, tin cans and workmen's hard hats - anything the multi-talented cast can get their hands on! Centred around a building site backdrop with scaffolding, this action-paced show contains an array of explosive routines, the highlight of which is a clash of two rhythmic approaches - one percussion, the other tap dance - as the two opposing forces test each other's ability to reproduce the complex rhythms they play. It's fast, loud, trans-continental and multi-lingual - the only language spoken is rhythm!
