Resolution! is The Place's annual festival of new works presented by a range of diverse emerging dance-artists. February 11th 1963 - February 11th 1963 is a duet exploring the life of Sylvia Plath, a life which was bursting with love, poetry, betrayal, despair, and an overpowering desire to escape. This exquisite, heartfelt creation envelops the audience into a world that is hidden in the crevices of one's mind. Unsettled - A new production loosely based on the life of a man named Igor. A true story involving the politics of a country in a time of corruption, death feuds and gangs. The concept of our new piece derived from our Artistic Director's research on mafia related crimes and the consequences and chain of events that can unfold from such crimes. As well as the compilation of various information from over eighty hours of one on one interviews with Igor, a former member from that dark side of life. We want to bring you on a journey to witness, to what extent a person can push their boundaries in order to survive, and how this can be transformed and communicated through the medium of dance. Apocalypse Y - It's the end of the world for generation Y. Are they going to panic or party? Hell? would they even care? Maybe they wasted their time, but they won't go quie Duration: 70mins
