Resolution! is The Place's annual festival of new works presented by a range of diverse emerging dance-artists. Myth - Sculptured bodies energise their breath to perform tribal movements across the stage. Historical mythologies fuel the martial arts inspired choreography, creating a distinct, animalistic, breathing dance production. Unbox - A solo movement piece exploring the point where urban, contemporary and tradition meet. This work aims to find movements which do not belong anywhere. Foreign Bodies/Race Tracks - A staged explosion of taboos within British multiculturalism and the landmines of its politically correct social scale. A humorous and dark physicality of sub-context, mixed cultural languages and momentous movement. Duration: 90min
