Lay Doen Your Burdens - T1591690822Inspired by the Bob Dylan song Lay Down Your Weary Tune, music is a key element of the work. The pub setting features original score by John Victor (of London band Ghengahr) played by live string section, and the voices of the audience are recorded, through unstructured and structured tasks and supported testimonials. The result is a collective weary tune, edited live, bespoke to each performance and place and played as the final moment of the show.Music John Victor.

Drowntown - T01362982750Gritty dance theatre that casts a light on people suffering from social isolation. With tenderness and honesty, DROWNTOWN holds up a mirror to community breakdown. Six people, weighed down by individual darkness, come to a coastal land. There is no lifeguard. Yearning to make connections and to find strength, they search for guidance. The absence of support sends them into a spiral as they struggle with ideas of shame and hope, unravelling before our eyes. Highly physical, interspersed with autobiographical testimonials and text, this timely performance gives voice to the vulnerable and unheard.Choreographer Rhiannon Faith. Smack That - T324505314Beverly is having a party and you are one of her guests. There are games, drinks, shared conversation, energetic dance and heartbreaking moments as she bravely gives a raw and honest account of surviving an abusive relationship. Each member of the all-female cast, a close-knit group of non-performers and dance artists, fearlessly takes on the persona of Beverly to convey turbulent, real experiences. The unusual setting creates a safe space for them to reveal the challenges they have faced and celebrate their endurance with the audience. Faith's work with a support group at charity Safer Places underpins this show, which seeks to raise social consciousness around domestic abuse by supporting women to openly talk about it.

Scary Shit - T02139361124An outrageous, humorous and extremely physical dance-theatre piece which puts the human condition under a microscope. From peanut butter to smear test phobias, this piece looks at human obstacles and how we can visit and challenge our fears. Rhiannon Faith asked a psychologist to help herself and her friend Maddy work through their inhibiting real-life fears. Scary Shit is a series of vignettes documenting the experiment, through 1:1 therapy sessions, autobiographical text and wider discussions on the science of fear.
