A Sudden Exit/Roughcut

A Sudden Exit - is set to Brahms' beautiful late piano music (Opus 118 and 119) played live by Stringfactory, a truly moving work, it explores the pain of abrupt departure. Roughcut was made in 1990 when Alston was director of Rambert Dance Company. Set to Steve Reich's shimmering New York and Electric Counterpoints for clarinet and electric guitar.
