Grey Allegro/Jeux d'Eau/Brisk Singing
Grey Allegro is driven by the feisty vigour of Domenico Scarlatti's Sonatas for keyboard, played live. It is taut and elegant, matching musical lyricism with choreographic precision. Alston's latest work is dance to the sun-drenched music of Ravel played live. Mediterranean heat is measured with French formality in Ravel's delicate Sonatine and in the gushing fountain jets of his Jeux d'Eau. Also presented is
