Kathkali is a much celebrated and ancient dance drama, unique to Kerala, India. Highly stylised and rigorous, Kathkali is a pantomime in which the actors do not speak or sing, but interpret their emotions and tell epic stories through eyes, facial expressions, hand gestures and rythmic body movements.
