An Expressionist solo about a man who is chased by the devil and is also the devil himself. Onishi has only twice before presented her work in the UK - "she moved with the fluidity of liquid gold" (Total Theatre) - and has won numerous prestigious prizes for her performances which marry Butoh and contemporary dance to emotive effect...She was originally a member of Hoppo-butoh Ha company and went on to perform for Tatoeba with Yumiko Yoshioka and Minako Seki and the influences of that background have been moulded into their own inimitable style.
