Details

High Land - Quirky and playful High Land takes a respectful but irreverent look at Scottish images - the landscape, music, traditions and history of a nation. The piece takes a walk through the highways and byways of national heritage (from midges to the clearances!) in pursuit of the spirit of a culture. Daddy I'm Not Well - A piece partly inspired by Sophocles' Oedipus The King, Aeshylus' Oresteia and paintings by Francis Bacon. A father and son look each other in the eyes. What they see is what they know. An inheritance of remembrance, revenge, regrets and reprise is ready to be passed on again?
