Sean Tuan John: I am Alsation and Destroy - a blend of quirky text, idiosyncratic dance and video imagery with music by trendy indie bands such as Mogwai from Glasgow and a touch of 80's disco. These new solos challenge conventional values in dance with performances that are excessive, kitsch and subversive. A Am Alsation is a lecture demonstration on doggy love stories, rabies and rage. Destroy is John's take on drunken, mayhem in post-industrial South Wales. Protein Dance: Portrait with Group and Duck - Luca Silvestrini (also a Featherstonehaugh ) and Bettina Strickler present an upbeat and witty blend of dance theatre, music, language and high drama, as they explore the potential absurdity of human relationships.
