He has to let go of his past to come to terms with his future… An inventive fusion of the performing arts old and new, Leaving Only a Trace is a striking piece of visual theatre rooted in the South-Indian dance form of Bharata Natyam, with poetry, comedy and live music. Shane Shambhu Company is a collective of multi-cultural contemporary performance artists, designers and makers who create visual theatre using the storytelling dance form of Bharata Natyam. By constantly reinventing the classical Indian dance style they bring together cultures, recognise the changing ideals of people from the Indian diaspora and appeal to audiences young and old through universal narratives.
