Silesian Dance Theatre (Slaski Teatr Tanca) is Poland's first professional contemporary dance company, established in the City of Bytom by Director Jacek Luminski. The dance and music is informed by Jewish songs, legends, superstitions, customs and rituals as well as regional musical factors such as tempo rubato, impulses built from unusual musical structures found in many districts of the country.
