In this quirky, melodramatic look at Bizet's 'Carmen', CUT combines stunning dance, with word, design, animation, music and comedy . This high octane, surreal, bold dance theatre work sees Carmen working in an abattoir for a vegetarian owner. The owner is infatuated with Carmen and he is pushed to his physical and mental limits as he yearns after her. Eventually this malignant lust overpowers him and we witness the slow unravelling of his character.
