Nina Rajarani's expressive Bharatanatyam dance piece about estranged lovers uses traditional poetry and music by composer and vocalist Y Yadavan. In contrast, Zimbabwe-born contemporary dancer and Place Prize finalist Bawren Tavaziva takes a more controversial stance.
