Ritual of Entrapment/Still/Here/Meenakshi/New Work

The final programme in new:currents offers two contrasting solos, Ritual of Entrapment, African choreographer and performer Francis Angol's wry take on the tyranny of fashion, and Andile Sotiya's Still/Here. Bharatanatyam choreographer Stella Subbiah presents Meenakshi, a minimal and retrospective piece inspired by Tamil literature of different eras. The programme also premieres the first group work by rising London choreographer and performer Saju Hari which incorporates the Kerelan martial art Kalaripayattu. Summer Collection. Clore Studio
