Bonnie Bird New Choreographer 2002 award winner. Stephanie Schober’s latest piece Catch premieres in London at Laban on 1 November prior to a short tour in England. Underpinning her intricately constructed dance pieces is an intuitive intelligence with which Schober binds raw-edged lyricism, pedestrian movement and gesture. A specially commissioned sound composition by John-Marc Gowans provides the compelling rhythmic score for Catch - featured as part of a triple bill this season. The works are performed by Richard Court, Katsura Isobe, Maria Paunonen, Stephanie Schober and Daniel Suominen.
