Details

Stormforce is a fusion of Irish and African dance and music, combining the rhythms of Irish tap shoes with African drums and voices to generate a show of immense power and excitement. It tells the story of a fight to save Mother Earth from 'Chaos', a metaphor for the impending environmental destruction of our planet. Chaos covets Earth's energy source, symbolised by a giant crystal and only Mother Earth, supported by Hewale an African healer and Earth Spirits can save us from destruction. The show culminates in a battle royal for the crystal, with the ultimate message "If we are to survive, our rhythms must unite".
