Founder, JP Omari rose to fame dancing with Stacey Gaunt on BBC 1's Strictly Dance Fever. As a well respected member of the Hip Hop dance scene. JP regularly teaches, judges and performs throughout the UK as well as appearances with the likes of Dizzee Rascal & Sean Paul. He is co-director and co-choreographer with Vickie Steege of Funkstarz, Brighton & Hove's Hip Hop Youth Dance Company and founding member of the Floor Crusaders - a south coast based break-dance crew. In the past JP has been Brighton & Hove's Dance Development co-ordinator working on the delivery of a youth, school and community dance education programme in the region. Join the Streetfunk team for the youth hip hop showcase of the year. Hosted by JP Omari this exciting event will feature the extraordinary talent of Brighton's youth hip hop dance groups plus performances from very special guests.
