Tabula Rasa Dance Company was established in 1999 by Claire Pen The Birdcatcher tells the story of a man who catches birds for a living, which he takes each week to sell at the market. The birds are bought by a fat gentleman to cook and eat and vain women to pluck for their beautiful feathers. Then one day the Birdcatcher discovers what he has never heard before, the beauty of their song and it changes his life.
