Using black urban and club dance forms as the physical starting point, the project will examine how some of these distinct styles can inspire and change each other when they collide. Aiming to unearth new movement languages, whilst challenging the superficial expectations placed on these dance styles. Temujin Gill will work with five other dance artists: Sunanda Biswas, Wendy Steatham, Franquey Luce, Sonia Mvondo and Beatrice Perini whose expertise includes Breaking, American House, Capoeira, Jazz, Locking and Contact Improvisation.
