Next Of Kin

Finnish choreographer Tero Saarinen presents the UK premiere of his new creation and Southbank Centre commission. Next of Kin explores how fears born in childhood and passed through ancestral memory influence how we choose the people we share our lives with. As if in a fevered nightmare, dancers form an array of bizarre, in-between characters in a world inspired by European expressionist, silent and horror film of the 1930s and 1940s. They populate a dark, rich and fantastic world conjured by Saarinen's regular visionary creative team. Queen Elizabeth Hall
