The Room - Improvising without restrain The Room is a totally unpredictable experiement for artists and audiences. Like voyeurs, the audience spy through windows and peepholes, or watch the action relayed live from video to camera to screens. The Room is an entertaining challenge, changing the boundaries between the real and fictional..hallucinatory, absurd and provocative it makes compulsive viewing. The Room was initially a research piece commissioned by Dance 4 and the Live Wire Project, Nuffield Theatre, University of Lancaster (with funds from the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England) and funded by the Arts Council of England and East Midlands Arts Board.
