Two outstanding companies frantically re-order fragments of time to create the last and latest cabaret show, in this rare opportunity to see the Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs on stage together. The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs supported by Tate Modern and SOWF will present
Quicksilver at Tate Modern’s UBS Opening: The Long Weekend 2008 www.tate.org.uk - a celebration of performance, visual art, film and music - which takes place over the Whitsun bank holiday May 24th - 26th. During the day, the gallery will be buzzing with performances to watch and opportunities to get involved, themed around States of Flux, one of the wings of Tate Modern's Collection displays, which explores change, progress and movement.
Quicksilver will be performed by a group of 30 12-24 year olds including pupils from Archbishop Tenison’s School, Lewisham College, Laban, and Richmond Upon Thames College (among others) led by members of the Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs in this dynamic piece of mass movement and intervention
