Two outstanding companies frantically re-order fragments of time to create the last and latest cabaret show, in this rare opportunity to see the Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs on stage together. Fyodor Dostoyevsky was an obsessive gambler who, in desperation to pay his debtors, would bet his publisher at long odds on an early completion of his novels. These extremely tight deadlines meant his work could not be revised or edited which resulted in an atmosphere of exhilaration and momentum within passages of his novels. Inspired by Dostoyevsky’s audacious recklessness and his risk-taking in the creative process, The Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs will be rushing headlong into the breakneck construction and precipitous performance of six ribald and dizzying cabarets over ten weeks of escalating mayhem in the intimate, intoxicating, Dostoyevskian, even, setting of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London Town. Eight Cholmondeleys and Featherstonehaughs are joined by two special guests for each Round with The Accumulator providing live and loud music!
