Part installation, part dance-theatre, part walking performance, The Sissy's Progress engages in the violence of city life and the contradictions of East London. Nando was beaten up only yards from Toynbee Studios. After years of dreaming up his response, he presents The Sissy's Progress, a spectacle of surprise, questioning and hyper flamboyance. Join a live marching band to follow The Sissy's Progress to its floridly medieval climax.
