A moving journey into the heart of tango. Colombian dancer, Myriam Ojeda-Patino leads a powerful performance of tango, theatre, video installation and music in a new Tiempo de Tango production, to create a compelling story which explores the roots and virtuosity of tango. A modern Argentinian girl, exiled from Buenos Aires in the 1970's, returns to find through her grandfather's papers, tragedy, passion and the secret to her own identity. Romance en Carnaval is set against the social and political turmoil of 20th century Argentina, the barrios and the great Latin American tradition of carnival.
