Selected from hundreds of entrants nationwide, 24 youth dance groups showcase the exceptional talent of the next generation of young dancers. Each performance features a different programme, with dance styles including contemporary, hip-hop and South Asian dance. The groups are drawn from school dance groups, youth dance companies, private dance schools and Centres for Advanced Training. The two performances, part of a weekend packed with activities, present an opportunity for young dancers to perform on stage, hone their skills in professional dance workshops and work with other dancers from across the country. | |
