An innovative and exciting dance piece by dancers from Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance, tailor made for the historic Kennedy Hall at the English Folk Dance and Song Society’s Cecil Sharp House. Each person taking part in the performance is an amateur dancer and Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance have weaved their magic on this eclectic group of people to create an inspired piece of dance. Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance hopes to uphold the memories and traditions of those taking part and to echo the exquisite space to create this stunning piece of contemporary dance. Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance Catarina Carvalho and Antoine Vereecken, from Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance, perform pieces from the company's dynamic, innovative and unique library of work. Corali present Eshr8 A piece choreographed by DJ (Housni Hassan) mentored by Antoine Vereecken from Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance over an intensive five day period. The piece marks the end of a year long professional placement undertaken by DJ with Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance, Matthew Bourne's New Adventure's and Jonzi D Productions, supported by Corali Dance Company. DJ performs with Antoine and three Corali dancers.
