Details

Vera Tussing graduated from London Contemporary Dance School, and has worked as a choreographer and dancer throughout the UK, Belgium and Europe. Her work has been commissioned and co-produced by institutions including ROH2 for ?Firsts' at the Royal Opera House, The Place, as well as STUK Art Centre, Leuven, Monty Theatre, Antwerp and Storm op Komst at De Warande in Tournhout. The Palm of Your Hand is a dance that takes place in the active, engaged, tactile encounters between performer and audience; in their unspoken agreement and understanding. Arranged in an ellipse, the audience form the bounds of the theatrical space. The fourth wall becomes the audience's bodies, their skin. In this journey, performer and audience discover and create together.
