As a short curtain raiser, male trio Kompany Malakhi open the evening with a taste of their 'Jigsaw Jam'. Kwesi Johnson's (Phoenix, CandoCo), breathtaking choreography combines jazz fusion, contemporary and African dance with physical theatre. One of Europe's most unique companies, Antwerp's Hush Hush Hush choreographed by Abdelaziz Sarrokh, skilfully mix styles and cultures. 'Via' sees five male breakdancers encounter two classically trained women and an amateur disco dancer - accompanied by cello, piano and a live DJ.
