Tchaikovsky Gala Evening
Enjoy an evening of highlights from the best known and most loved Tchaikovsky ballets, including extracts from 'Swan Lake', 'Sleeping Beauty', and 'The Nutcracker'. Vienna Ballet 'Swan Lake Act 2' is the famous lakeside scene when Prince Siegfried falls in love with Odette, the Queen of the Swans. In Act 1 of 'Sleeping Beauty' we see Princess Aurora at her 16th birthday party dancing the famous Rose Adage with four princes, and in Act 1 of 'The Nutcracker' the battle scene of the Mouse King and the Nutcracker Prince, and the Dance of the Snowflakes. This gala evening of ballet has been specially produced for the Vienna Festival Ballet after receiving an overwhelming response from audiences nationwide.
