Wendy is a performer and maker for a generation of artists, bringing a wealth of experience from her own work alongside her collaborations with artists whose work challenges, enriches and extends the boundaries of dance and theatre, such as the late Nigel Charnock, Lloyd Newson (DV8), Rose English and Gary Stevens as well as Tim Etchells, Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion. In her new solo work The 48 Almost Love Lyrics Wendy Houston becomes a forensic dancer as she pieces together the scattered fragments that surround us all into a compelling evening of dark humour.
