The idea could not be simpler. The Place's Robin Howard Dance Theatre will undergo a dramatic transformation for ten nights of short adaptations and premieres by 37 pioneering choreographers. The work will be presented in a white theatre space, the very opposite of traditional 'black box' theatre conditions. Each night in White Christmas there is an eclectic, one-off bill lasting around 60 minutes, with works by seven outstanding choreographers and a world premiere to finish. With nowhere to hide, the normal rules do not apply. Here is dance literally in a new light.
