ZooNation Dance Company - Unplugged archiveZooNation Dance Company was founded in 2002 by Kate Prince. In 2006, the company premiered Into the Hoods, which went on to become the longest running dance show the West End has ever seen. In 2010 ZooNation became a Resident Company at Sadler's Wells, and Kate Prince became an Associate Artist. It's time to turn off the power, light a few candles and unplug the beats. Kate Prince and ZooNation explore the relationship between musician and dancer with an evening of live acoustic music and breathtaking dance. This is a rare opportunity to experience hip hop music and dance stripped bare of all the bling. Expect ZooNation's trademark comedic style and plenty of heart as they shuffle their iPods to select a journey through the past 60 years of music. With live musicians and dancers from both ZooNation and ZooNation Youth Company, kick back, relax, and let the music play.
