A week of theatre, dance, new writing, exhibitions and culinary delights celebrating the spirit of China, as part of the China Links project. Supported by the Year of the Artist and VSO. Highlights include: Step Out Arts: Sher Nain Wu Ji - Mon 22 Jan 19:30 - Chinese folk, classical and contemporary dance pieces created especially for Chinese New Year 2001 by this world renowned Taiwanese Dance Troupe. The Internet Writings - Wed 24 Jan 19:30 - A chance to hear some of the writing that has emerged from the students in China and Britain through the web-based creative writing project, China Links. Chinese New Year Concert - Thurs 25 Jan 13:00 - In celebration of the Year of the Snake, a selection of Chinese traditional music from the London Chinese Orchestra.
