Choreographer Stephanie Schober invites the visual artist and sculptor Anne Wieselgren and the filmmaker and photographer Melanie Rozencwajg to work with her in this week-long research project. She will be joined by the dancers Bonita Chan and Ruth Voon. The artists will be looking at the body in different locations. They have chosen Home as a place for inspiration to collect images of the body in motion. Creative research will be done in the studio as well as outside, responding to the experiences in the surrounding area. Each artist will sometimes be working on their own, exploring starting points for new creations within the medium of their choice. Then they will also work together, suggest new possibilities to each other and investigate their process of collaborative creation. The exhibition will present some of the outcome of the project. It will be an opportunity to meet the participating artists and to share their experiences of the week.
