The tenth Almeida Opera Festival includes the British premieres of Kantan and Damask Drum by Alexander Goehr and God's Liar by John Casken. In addition, composer Heiner Goebbels directs Sound City, the result of a two year long creative project involving 26 London based musicians and there will be a series of contemporary music events throughout Hoxton.
