We are delighted to be hosting a programme of African arts events that will bring ancient traditions to the heart of the community. Entertaining, educational and inspiring, the aim is to provide a more complete understanding of African heritage and traditions. Events will include workshops in drumming, singing, dancing, storytelling and instrument making; theatre productions which bring energy, colour and life to the stage; a performance by the stunning nine-piece traditional African big-band, Batanai Marimba; and exhibitions of artifacts and images.
