A 3 week festival In the past 2 years Direct Action has been an occasional series of productions by some of the best young directors. Now, as part of our closing celebrations, we present a Direct Action Festival. Past Direct Action Productions: Afore Night Come directed by Rufus Norris "Highly impressive. A superb kick-off for Direct Action" Independent on Sunday Winner Evening Standard Award for Outstanding Newcomer 2001. Andorra directed by Gregory Thompson "There's no escaping the power of this piece" Daily Mail. When the World was Green directed by Amir Nizar Zuabi "It has significance written all over it...wonderful" Observer. Simply Heavenly directed by Josette Bushell-Mingo "This bewitching gospel and blues musical seduces you almonst at first sight and sound" Evening Standard.
