Following the success of last year's Festival, the Gate Theatre is proud to present the second East Goes West Festival, a chance to see some of the most exciting and innovative small-scale companies from Eastern Europe. Once again there will be no need for surtitles for the whole mix of delights including the comedian Russia is becoming addicted to, the cream of Ljubliana's unique and bubbly performing arts scene, a fourteen-strong combo of Georgian puppeteers and actors presenting their version of Faust and a poetic evocation of Marc Chagall's youth in Vitebsk.
