Face 2 Face is a brand new community oratorio - a unique celebration of the people of Calderdale, the land beneath our feet, and the stone that has been carved here for generations. Imagine the haunting melodies of Calderdale Voices Choir fusing with the scintillating Brazilian beats of the Calder Rhythms! Percussion band, add the bright sparkling tones of the famous Yorkshire Co-operatives Brass Band (not to mention the wild Faffen Fuffen Band, virtuoso jazz soloists, a chorus of stone masons and a choir of school children) - the result is an inspirational collaboration between twenty professional artists and over a hundred and twenty local people. A year in the making, a new musical journey for the millennium. Face 2 Face - the most fun you can have together - without the hangover!
