A new London cabaret, comedy and performance venue is opening its doors on 28 June, 2013, with a celebration of the very best of Fringe theatre. Upstairs at the Southern Cross, situated above the Southern Cross pub on the New King's Road in Fulham, is managed by Artistic Director, Ray Rackham, and Creative Producer, Sarah Shelton, for the London Theatre Workshop. This 50 seat venue offers visitors a chance to step away from the crowded pavements of the nearby King's Road and become part of an exciting new venture, showcasing fantastic live entertainment, producing a diverse programme of comedy, musical, play and in-house cabaret, and giving performers in London a welcoming home on the fringe. To celebrate the opening of Upstairs at the Southern Cross, the London Theatre Workshop will produce a five week Festival season, "Fringe on the Fringe", showcasing the very best of the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and running from 28 June, 2013 - 04 August. 2013.
