The writer's lot is not a happy one, so over 48 hours the Maddermarket Theatre will explore, celebrate and investigate new writing and writers for the stage, screen and air waves. We will be inviting prestigious writers, producers, agents and actors to thrash out and challenge the frustrations new writers endure in a quest for production - and encourage audiences to voice their opinions of new plays and productions. Performances, Readings, Debate and Good Talk about greadt words on the page and how to transport them to a stage.
