Exceptional performances from the UK and abroad will be hitting the stage of The Carriageworks within the five electrifying days of this spectacular festival. Don’t miss the thrilling, foot tapping, opening performance from the Max Pashm Band, London - an exciting fusion of world music, featuring Jazz, Balkan, Klezmer, Irish, Greek & electro beats. Other highlights include 'Simply Barbara' - Steven Brinberg is Barbara Streisand. Direct from the US, this hit show of breathtaking vocal mastery, fused with astute comedic observations, invites you to spend the evening with Barbara and other friends such as Cher, Cleo Lane & Ethel Mermen - a huge international hit! From New York, 'Spaghetti and Matzo Balls' - the musical. Follow a Jewish/Italian girl’s dream to take centre stage and how she becomes the mafia’s sweetheart. MUSIC - Jazz, funk and soul from The Joe Leader Collective, London and anoutstanding concert highlighting Jewish music and songs from the London musicals,delivered by the amazing Steven Leas. DRAMA - Showcasing an exceptional array of talent to make you laugh and cry! COMEDY - The UK’s own Jewish funny man, Mark Maier, will be the comedyanchor for the Festival whilst Brad Ashton, comedy writer for the stars, delivers afascinating and humorous show about his experiences working with larger than lifecharacters such as the late Tommy Cooper and Les Dawson.
