A competitive festival of one act plays. One Acts are normally 35-55 minutes long with a cast of two or more. The favourite one-act drama festival comes home at last! Although this is the first time at Brentwood Theatre, this Drama Festival celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in 2008 and is a firm favourite with many local groups and audiences. At each performance session three different groups will each present a one-act play which will be adjudicated "live". At the final session, awards will be presented for all aspects of play presentation. It is a great chance to see local talent on show – and 12 plays over 3 days for those prices can’t be bad!
